HubSpot is a convenient one-stop shop for our marketing needs!

HubSpot is a marketing, sales, and service software that helps your business guide potential customers and current customers through the buyer’s journey.

We love using the HubSpot software as our primary marketing tool because they offer features for every stage of the marketing funnel.

Our Favorite Features

Blogging

The blogging tool is a great way to manage all past and future blogs for your website while optimizing your content.

You can view all blogs that have been published, scheduled, created as a draft, and archived (removed from the website but not permanently deleted). You can also view analytics on blog performance to see which content is resonating with your audience.

When publishing your blog post, you can schedule for a future time, from ten minutes to years out, or publish the post immediately. This is a great feature because you can write and schedule when it is convenient for you, instead of uploading the blog the day you need it published.

Why do we love it?

  • Consistent formatting
  • Easily embed call-to-actions (CTAs)
  • Attach to pillar pages
  • Manage visitor’s comments
  • Create author bios to easily give credit to team members
  • Advanced scheduling capabilities
  • Generates analytics on blog post performance

Live Chat

The live chat feature allows you to engage with your visitors in real time. This helps your customers or potential customers get the information that they need quickly.

Every chat you have gets saved to your conversations inbox so you can later review who you connected with and why they were interested in your product or service.

The conversations inbox allows you to respond to chats, take notes, send emails, make calls, schedule follow-up tasks, and create support tickets. Being able to take care of almost any request right from the inbox makes it convenient and easy to engage with customers.

Why do we love it?

  • Easily customize your widget
  • Saves conversations
  • Versatility of the inbox
  • Create welcome messages for each website page
  • Chatbot feature (no coding required)

SEO

The SEO tool may be our current favorite because we’ve seen great benefits for our business since we’ve implemented it in our marketing efforts.

In this tool, you can create a topic (like Web Design) and attach related content from your website to the topic through the use of subtopics and pillar pages. Pillar pages are pages on your website that broadly relate to a specific topic and can be used as a topic source.

Attaching your content and creating a web of information boosts SEO by helping you target content toward your ideal customer. By having set content pillars, you’re forced to evaluate and answer questions that your customer has.

Why do we love it?

  • Helps focus your content ideas
  • Boosts your search engine ratings
  • Poses you as an expert within your pillar topic
  • Gives your blog structure
  • Tracks number of sessions, average session length, bounce rate, and inbound links

Social

HubSpot’s social tool is perfect for us to manage our social channels. We can go to one website and schedule out our social media for weeks at a time.

HubSpot makes it easy to handle every stage of your social program, from drafting posts to engaging with fans.

There is a notification feature within your settings that sends you an update on all new social interactions, conversions, and Twitter followers. This can be sent to you daily, twice daily, weekly, or you can disable it if you don’t want email notifications. You also have the option of getting a more robust monthly report on all of your channels.

Why do we love it?

  • Monitor social inbox streams and Twitter streams
  • Post on multiple social channels at once
  • Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn integration
  • Reports on your social channels
  • Schedule posts for future dates or publish instantly
  • Create drafts for future posts

Email

The email tool makes it easy to send newsletters to all of your fans, and analyze what is working and what isn’t.

If you don’t have a tool to track and send your emails, you have no way of knowing who has opened them and what links they are clicking on. If you know this information, you can tailor your emails to your customers much more effectively. The A/B testing tool is a great way to begin understanding what your customers respond to.

Your branded template is also saved so that it makes it easy to send future newsletters or emails because you just need to add the content.

Why do we love it?

  • Tailor emails to recipients
  • Pre-made templates and ability to create your own templates
  • A/B testing
  • Generates analytics on email performance
  • Archives all of your emails
